Retcon alert: Auschlander tells Westphall that Dr. Joseph McCabe founded St. Eligius in 1932. A few episodes ago ("Vanity"), the documentary filmmaker said the hospital was founded in 1934. "Time Heals" (S4) will show the hospital being founded in 1935.
ReplyDeleteWestphall says he never met McCabe, but "Time Heals" will show that he's known the priest since Donald was at least six years old.
Of course, a portrait of a different priest is shown in the chapel in this episode. Later, it will be changed to a portrait of Edward Herrmann, who played McCabe in "Time Heals."
Meta-Media Alert (or whatever it's called): The policeman who serves the divorce summons to Ehrlich is named Officer Pete Malloy. This was the name of Martin Milner's character on Adam-12.
