The Reproductive System: St. Elsewhere on Video

Next to John Gideon undressing on closed circuit, St. Elsewhere episodes are the most entertaining videos you can watch. The problem is that, until recently, VHS tapes have been difficult to obtain.

In 1992, MTM home video released four volumes of St. Elsewhere including the Christmas episode (#79). The tapes were distributed by United American Video Group of Charlotte, and sold at discount stores and video retailers. Today these volumes are somewhat difficult to locate and are usually stashed away in sale bins.

"Movies Unlimited" out of Philadelphia can still order one or two of the volumes, but others have been discontinued.

The good news is that Columbia House Home Video is now offering a new series of St. Elsewhere episodes. According to customer service representative Patty Sell, Columbia House is offering ten volumes with each tape containing two complete, uncut episodes. If you wish to own these collector tapes call 1-800-***-**** and you will receive a tape about every month.
